3G iPhone Coming Next Year?
Thursday 29 November 2007AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said that “You’ll have it next year” when he was discussing the 3G version of the Apple iPhone. He said this at a meeting of the Churchill Club in Santa Clara, California. He did not comment on exactly when it would come out, or how much it would cost. He also didn’t elaborate on how fast the 3G speeds would reach. Steve Jobs had hinted at a 3G iPhone during the iPhone launching in UK announcement in September.
Of course, now the rumors will spread about the 3G phone being available at MacWorld in January.
If your looking to get an iPhone, but are unhappy with the EDGE network, I would wait to see what develops. The 3G network has always been faster than the EDGE network.
